Hello,

My dog injured his jaw and is very difficult and painful for him to chew. I must give antibiotics in tablet form. Anyone who is sick and has no desire to eat. I tried to put it on bread, bread in tomato sauce, cheese and soaked in Turkey. He will not eat the pill. I can open my jaw and the strength to see how the pain. Has anyone an idea what can I do to my dog a pill?

Put the pill in peanut butter. my dog loves it, because it is sticky and can not eat around them.

Try to keep the mouth soft, put the pill in the bottom of the canyon, near the mouth and rub his neck to ensure that the swallows. If you still do not take these medications, call your vet and ask for a liquid form. You will be more than happy to help. Additionally, you can talk to them about pain relievers.

I agree with everyone else. You need to put the pill on the back of the throat and make him swallow them (it's the only way, unless you want to eat). You do not open it now, just enough to get your fingers in. Even if it becomes a little uncomfortable for him, he feel better long term. Good luck!

Try to give a walk in a park while walking and the pill. It can be as happy to eat just about the pill. And maybe you could try a few things in the park before trying to like bread dipped in marinara sauce.
All dogs love to go.

I hope it works. Good luck
